  • Crash diagnostics — anonymous crash reports and performance metrics via Firebase Crashlytics.

We do not collect sensitive personal data such as financial information, biometric data, or health records.

  • Providing geo-local news relevant to your city, district, and state.

  • Complying with applicable Indian laws and regulations.

We do not use your data for profiling, automated decision-making, or any purpose beyond providing news services.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Limited sharing occurs only in these circumstances:

  • Service providers — trusted partners for cloud hosting, analytics, and push notifications, under strict data processing agreements.

All third-party providers are contractually bound to process your data only as instructed by us and in compliance with applicable privacy laws.

4. Location Data

All India News requests location access to serve you local news relevant to your area:

  • Location is requested only with your explicit permission on first launch.
  • You may grant either approximate (city-level) or precise location access.
  • Location data is used only to filter and surface local news — never sold or shared with advertisers.
  • You may revoke location access at any time through device settings without losing core functionality.

5. Data Security & Storage

Your data is stored on servers within India in compliance with data localisation requirements. Security measures include:

  • Encryption of data in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256).
  • Regular security audits and penetration testing by independent assessors.
  • Strict access controls limiting data access to authorised personnel only.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

6. Your Rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and applicable Indian law, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure — request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Withdraw Consent — withdraw consent for data processing at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.
  • Grievance Redressal — raise a complaint with our Data Protection Officer or the Data Protection Board of India.

7. Children's Privacy

All India News is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal data, we will delete it promptly.
